Food, and its texture.
Food gets tattooed through texture or it doesn't get tattooed: the crumb of a loaf, the condensation on a cold bottle, the greasy shine on a freshly cut slice. It's one of the few subjects where greyscale costs nothing, because everyone already knows what colour a tomato is and the brain fills it in. These tend to be funny, or nostalgic in a very specific way, and in Buenos Aires that means medialunas, fernet and the occasional milanesa.
