Bodywork, chrome, reflection.
A car is a hard-surface object with proportions everyone already knows by heart: move the roofline or the wheel arch two millimetres and anyone who owns that model sees it immediately. And most of what you actually draw isn't the car, it's what the car reflects — sky above, asphalt below, the dark band of the horizon crossing the door. Chrome is solved with abrupt jumps in value rather than a gradient, and it's nearly always one particular car: a father's, a first one, the one still sitting in the garage.
